This week’s most exciting news comes from Disney Cruise Line!

The Disney Wish celebrated a major milestone on Friday when it completed it’s “float-out”!  This step marks when the ship leaves dry land and becomes waterborne for the first time!

The ship is now expected to move to the yard’s outfitting pier for final interior items.

At Walt Disney World, it was announced that the “Capture Your Moment” photo experience will now be available at EPCOT (as of February 24th) and Hollywood Studios (as of March 21st).

Now available at all four theme parks, a Capture Your Moment photo session is a personalized 20-minute private photo session with a Disney PhotoPass photographer.  These sessions are a great way to commemorate your visit or a special event!

Each Capture Your Moment session is $79 and can include up to eight guests. While prints and digital downloads are not included, those with a Disney PhotoPass entitlement such as Memory Maker or Memory Maker One Day, as well as qualifying Annual Passholders with a Disney PhotoPass download benefit, can download the photos at no extra cost.

Last but not least, ABC’s “American Idol” is returning to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. After earning their chance to become America’s next superstar in Hollywood, American Idol contestants will journey to Oahu to hone their craft under the guidance of celebrity mentors as they prepare to showcase their vocal skills during a concert on Aulani Resort’s beach. This season of ABC’s “American Idol” begins Sunday, Feb. 27th.
