I’m on my way home from Walt Disney World after another amazing runDisney race weekend. Race weekends are always a party and I had SO much fun!

There is a LOT of exciting Disney news to report this week!
First up – runDisney!
runDisney announced race and registration dates for the 2022-23 race season!
The first race weekend in the season, Wine & Dine half marathon weekend will be November 3 -6, 2022. Registration opens March 2, 2022.
If you’re interested in racing Wine and Dine this year, please reach out as soon as possible – resorts are already booking up and availability is limited!
Marathon Weekend will be held January 5 – 8, 2023. Registration opens April 19, 2022.
Princess Weekend will be held February 23-26, 2023. Registration opens June 21, 2022.
Springtime Surprise Weekend will be held April 13 -16, 2023. Registration opens August 23, 2022.
If you’re interested in participating in any of these race weekends, please let me know. I recommend getting on my list for 2023 to make your resort reservations as soon as they are released.
At Disneyland, more entertainment is returning!
The Main Street Electrical Parade (my absolute favorite parade), Disneyland Forever fireworks and World of Color will all be returning on April 22nd!
Fantasmic (the Disneyland version is far superior to the Hollywood Studios version in my opinion) will return on May 28th!
There have also been changes to Genie+ service at Walt Disney World. Through August 7th, three attractions previously designated as Individual Purchase Lightning Lane attractions will now be included in regular Genie+ service. These attractions are Space Mountain, Frozen Ever After and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
A media preview of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience was held last week and the first official sailing boards this week! If you haven’t heard about this yet, it is a 2-night immersive Star Wars adventure in which you are a character in the story! My colleagues will be setting sail aboard the Chandrila Star Line later this month, so check back for more!
If you’re looking for a new kind of adventure this summer, there is a great offer on select National Geographic Expeditions. Guests can save $250 per person on the Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion National Parks (June 4, 2022) departure, as well as $350 per person on select other international departures, including Greece: Wonders of an Ancient Empire, Spain: Walking the Camino de Santiago and Human History: Northern Spain and Southwest France.
