Good morning friends and happy Sunday!
Just a few things to report this week! As always, for more information about any of today’s news, DM or email me!
At Disneyland, a new fitness program is being launched in connection with the Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
Guests staying at any of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort will now have the opportunity to participate in fitness classes, many of which will take place in one-of-a-kind settings, such as inside Disney California Adventure park before it opens for guests.
Some examples include a yoga class with scenic views of Disney California Adventure, guided meditations, stretching, or boot camp in the park, an obstacle challenge at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, or a paddleboard class in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa’s Fountain Pool!
There was also some disappointing news this week.
As a result of delays in the shipyard, delivery of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, has been delayed by about six weeks. This has resulted in the cancellation of the first 12 scheduled sailings. Affected guests have been generously compensated and will have the opportunity to reschedule their sailings.
Demand was already high for these greatly anticipated cruises. If you’ve been thinking about booking one of these, reach out soon as I expect there to be limited availability for the remaining sailings!
Last but not least both Walt Disney World and Disneyland resorts are celebrating Black History Month with a wide range of experiences. Disney’s Celebrate Soulfully program invites families and friends to gather for experiences that honor Black heritage and culture through music, food, art and more.
