News

Good morning friends and happy Sunday!

My kids finished school on Friday and so we are now in full-on summer mode.  Stay tuned to social for all our adventures including a BIG (non-Disney!) trip in July!!

Just a couple of things to report this week!

Walt Disney World vacation packages for 2023 go on sale this Wednesday!  If you haven’t already, be sure to fill out a quote request or send me an email!

At Animal Kingdom, Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond! is returning June 13!

Based on Disney and Pixar’s film Finding Nemo, this exciting stage show invites you to discover the familiar tale of Nemo and friends from a whole new point of view, as well as fan favorite songs such as “In the Big Blue World” and “Go with the Flow.”

The adventure begins by catching up with the fish from Dr. P. Sherman’s office in Finding Nemo who made their way across the ocean to the Marine Life Institute.

With live performers, animated backdrops and a theater decked out with innovative lighting, sound and special effects to create Nemo’s undersea environment, this newly updated show takes you back to the extraordinary underwater world—all over again!

Last, but not least, Disney Parks’ PRIDE Month celebration kicked off this week!

Some of the highlights from the celebration include:

Pride-themed backdrops celebrating love. Each park photo wall is unique, themed to its surroundings and honors the diversity and pride within the LGBTQIA+ community.

Disney PhotoPass Service will have photo props like a rainbow umbrella, Magic Shots and colorful photo opportunities throughout Walt Disney World, plus new virtual backdrops at the Disney PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs.

Also at Disney Springs,  Art Walk, which celebrates the work of both local artists and artists from around the globe and currently features a new piece from Chad Mize, a multimedia artist, designer and muralist.

There are of course, a wide-variety of limited-time food and beverage offerings and merchandise!  Profits from the Disney Pride Collection will benefit organizations that support LGBTQIA+ youth and families, including Zebra Coalition, based in Central Florida.

In an effort to further support the Zebra Coalition in its mission to provide a community where all youth feel safe and empowered, we are donating an additional $100,000 to help expand its housing and counseling services. To learn more about this organization and others, visit TWDCPrideCollection.com.

There are also new Disney MagicMobile designs in honor of Pride Month – these can be found in the My Disney Experience app.

Finally, there is a new stitching option for ear hat personalization! The new personalization options will be available year-round and feature the colors of the pride and transgender flags. Personalization options are available at Curtain Call Collectibles at Magic Kingdom Park, Gateway Gifts at EPCOT and Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories at Disney Springs.
