Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is one of Disney’s value resorts, but it is the most unique of them all.
This is my absolute favorite resort for families!
The best part of this resort is the rooms! The majority of the rooms at this resort are family suites that sleep up to six.
Upon entering the room you will find a large living area that features a pull-out couch and a queen Murphy bed that is also a table with four chairs.
There is also a full bathroom with a bathtub.
Finally, there is a small kitchenette featuring a small refrigerator, sink and microwave.
There is ALSO a separate bedroom with a queen bed and a second full bathroom!!!
These fantastic family suites have Lion King, Cars and Finding Nemo themes.
There are also Little Mermaid themed standard rooms. These rooms only sleep 4 and are quite small, but can be great for Little Mermaid fans.

This is by-far the most Disney-themed resort.
There are four distinct areas – Cars, The Lion King, Finding Nemo and The Little Mermaid. In each of these sections you will find over-the-top, larger than life scenes from your favorite movies.
There are also Cars, Finding Nemo and Little Mermaid themed pools! The Big Blue Pool is the largest pool at any of the Disney resorts and it has underwater speakers! For me, though, the Cozy Cone is the place to be!
Last but not least, this resort is on the Skyliner! The Skyliner has been a complete game changer. The Skyliner connects Art of Animation with Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. This is a far more effective and pleasant way to travel, and makes it so much easier to get to a ton of additional restaurants and attractions!
