Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts are technically two resorts, but I am going to talk about them together since they are connected and share their pool!
This is one of my favorite resorts, especially for families traveling with older children or for adults traveling without children!
One of the best things about this resort is its location! Located on Disney’s BoardWalk, this resort gives you access to SO many dining and entertainment options, in addition to being in walking distance to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. If the walk to Hollywood Studios is feeling a little long to you, you can also hop on the Skyliner or a friendship boat.
Another huge perk of this resort is the POOL! Arguably the best pool in all of Walt Disney World, this huge pool is really so much more than just a pool – there is an incredible shipwreck slide, a lazy river, a shallow, zero-entry wading pool with sand for building sand castles and of course the sand bottom throughout!

In addition to this amazing feature pool, there are three “quiet” or leisure pools.
Recently refurbished, you can see that the rooms are clean and spacious. Standard rooms in this resort sleep 5 with two queen beds and a pull-out sofa bed. In addition to standard rooms, you will also find one and two-bedroom suites and studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom villas.
I particularly love the curtains in the Yacht Club rooms!
There is every type of dining available, from the upscale Ale & Compass to the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop (a MUST for milkshakes!) to character dining at Cape May Cafe and lots more in between.
If all that’s not enough, you also have all of the live entertainment and dining options on the Boardwalk.
Jellyrolls – dueling piano bar
Abracadabra Bar – magician themed lounge
and the famous pizza window!
